Banana Peanut Butter Smoothie

I love smoothies and I eat them most every day. It started when I joined a group challenge to eat as many veggies as I could in a day. There was no way to significantly increase my intake of vegetables without adding them to breakfast. You should know that after making a few I adopted the dump and taste method. I was able to increase the number of servings of vegetables a day by 3 to 5 servings by adding smoothies to my morning routine. I hope you will give it a try!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 to 1 cup of liquid of choice such as milk, nut milk, or water

  • 1 serving of high-quality collagen and 1 scoop of chocolate or vanilla protein powder

  • Add 2 handfuls of frozen greens of choice. Spinach, kale, romaine, or power greens all work well.

  • 1 TBLS peanut butter

  • ½ - 1 whole frozen banana

    Optional add-ins

  • 1-2 scoops peanut butter powder

  • 2 TBLS flax seeds

Blend thoroughly in a high speed blender then pour or spoon into a bowl or cup and sprinkle with granola or cacao nibs. Enjoy!
